Scouts go sailing
Beachgoers in Garden City Beach watch Hobie Cats sail just south of The Pier at Garden City on Thursday afternoons in the summer months.

The sailors are not tourists, or even experienced locals, but members of the Belin United Methodist Church Venturing Crew, a co-ed program of the Boy Scouts of America.

Anna Culter, 14, is ready for her second sail.
